Vojtěch: No, to by mohlo být zajímavé... škoda, že nevydávají konverzi do 13th age, ale i tak se dá :)
ALL: Tak jsem prozkoumal, co nás čeká. Je to jasné - Orkové! A příběhově si můžete vybrat ze třech souběžných příběhů:
Domovina Krále trpaslíků - postavy se nacházejí v trpasličí pevnosti v Železném údolí, když dojde k překvapivému napadení orky...
Očarování Elfí Královny - The Orc Lord has been uniting the belligerent orc tribes under his banner, through a combination of reawakened race memory, charisma, and conquest. He’s been drilling the orcs, training them, turning them
into a unified force. Now General Gul, leader of the Red Flag Army, has got tired of waiting and has marched her portions of the orc horde towards dwarven lands. The Dwarf King has called upon the Elf Queen to honor a treaty and come to the aid of the dwarves. The Elf Queen has no choice but to answer the summons.
The adventurers find themselves acting as wayfinders for the elves, dropped by eagle riders into dangerous situations ahead of the advancing army.
On Orcs...
We’ve left it vague where orcs come from; are they a true breeding race, or are they born out of noisome pits in the ground in response to magic upsetting the natural order of things? We’ve not said how smart orcs are; are they bestial creatures with low tribal cunning, or do they belong to a savage race of proud barbarian warriors? We’ve not said much about their diet; do they think adventurers are tasty or very tasty? Page 65 of the core rules and the orc entry in the 13th Age Bestiary give some ideas for you to consider, but in many
ways orcs as a concept are yours to play with.
There are many kinds of orc, from the batlike cave orcs who ‘see’ by screeching in orcish to the bardlike battle screamer and the piggy orc tusker. An early draft that I wrote for the 13th Age Bestiary even had ‘newborn’ orcs with scalding hot blood that clambered out of pits in the ground to eat adventurers (thankfully Rob was on hand to talk me down from that one and turn it into the more sensible pitspawn orc). Maybe it is best to treat orc as a catchall term for many different but interrelated races, kindred, and subspecies that
outsiders call ‘orcs’. Orcs know the difference between their various tribes, breeds, clans, and cadres; but nonorcs do not differentiate between them when the Orc Lord’s horde comes screaming over the hill intent on slaughter and pillage.
